Landyn learned to play the game at all of the Tucson City Golf courses, so creating the Tucson Golf Program brings great pride. His first stint in the golf business was at the Omni Tucson National where he worked various roles for 7 years before becoming the Program Director for the First Tee of Tucson. While at the First Tee, Lewis was able to help merge the Ricki Rarick and SAJGA programs underneath the same umbrella to better streamline the junior golfer experience in Southern AZ. The programs grew immensely under his leadership. He then spent a year at Topgolf Tucson as the Director of Instruction, where he was able to garner valuable coaching experience on the individual front. In October 2021 Lewis was given the chance to create the Tucson Golf Program.

For Tucson City Golf, which includes Randolph Golf Complex, El Rio Golf Course, Fred Enke Golf Course and Silverbell Golf Course, Lewis created the Tucson Golf Program with various player development programs to introduce people to the game, help existing players improve, provide classes/clinics/camps and encourage people to get out on the golf course. Those programs include Operation 36, PGA Jr League, PGA HOPE, PGA Camps, PING Interclub, PGA TEAM Golf and PGA Family Cup. Lewis coordinates, promotes and conducts all the initiatives, which has resulted in all of the programs flourishing.

Beyond golf, Lewis is deeply committed to giving back to his community through various philanthropic endeavors, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of those around him.

Diego Guerrero

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and have played golf for 18 years. The swing intrigued me at a very young age, and let’s just say that hasn’t changed a bit. This game has brought so many great people and opportunities in my life, and my goal is to teach others in hopes to present the same opportunities for them!
